Two friends during their student's life have met various difficulties with renting a flat, secure buying or selling stuff within the campus and to resolve these problems and make life easier in 2016 they decided to build application named Brocolle.
In modern students life, in order to rent an apartment, get a job, buy or sell
different stuff or find an event a student must go to different platforms and use
different applications to acquire each thing separately. The challenge was to
combine different student's needs into one easy-to-use iOS application and to take
care of student’s security.
Brocolle app is the day-to-day student’s app for iPhone devices that combines all basic student needs in one easy-to-use application.
The target audience of the app is the US students. For the purpose of security and in order to restrict the access for non-college users, only owners of emails with university .edu domains may sign up.
Brocolle exploits the location services facility on the user's mobile device to suggest the most relevant content, (events nearby, subleasing proposals, things to buy), that is restricted by the boundaries of the university area. Students may only see and publish the ads on their campus. Such approach helps to protect students from fraud and theft.
